Why do you need a SHOOT Dome Port?

    It can dramatically improves camera’s underwater functionality and image quality by moving the waterline away from the GoPro lens,you can capture the amazing half underwater half above-water photos.Without the dome,you will get a split photo.

Feature     

1.If you just use the camera, it’s pretty tough to shoot half underwater/ half and half photos, because the water line, filed of view and underwater magnification stop you doing that, so to even things out, you need this dome port    

2.The dome pushes the water line away from the lens, the field of view is increased,above and below the water line, it gives you very cool pictures    

3.The water magnifies things. This distorts the look of photos, making the above water objects look normal while the underwater objects

Cleaning:

 Always rinse the dome with fresh water after seawater use.

If for some reason you need to clean the dome from the inside, you will need a size 8 allen key to remove all 10 screws that hold the dome in place. Always use cleaning agent that does not harm acrylic materials.Once your dome is cleaned re-attach it to the backplate and make sure there is no dirt, sand, hair or other debris along the rubber gasket that could compromise the integrity of the waterproof dome.

Tighten the screws until you get resistance, don’t over tighten them.
